About me

Photo: Self Portrait

My name is Aaron Veino. I am an Industrial Designer. I often say that Industrial Design is a blessing and a curse. A blessing because it has to be the most fun job on the planet, where else can you get paid to draw pictures and create things on a daily basis? And a curse because you can never turn it off, I'm consistently noticing things in the world around me that are far less than ideal situations and ask, 'Why?!'

I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where I had co-ops at American Power Conversion, New Balance and Eleven. I currently work at ThermoFisher Scientific as part of the Experience Design group. I previously worked in Schneider Electric's North American Design Lab. I am also an adjunct faculty in the Industrial Design department at Wentworth Institute of Technology where I teach both Visualization 2 and 3: Industrial Design Perspective Drawing and Marker Rendering.

My other interests include, but are not limited to, designing and building furniture, sketching, photography, and learning new skills. I taught myself how to play the guitar many years ago, and after a long recess, I have recently picked it back up again.
